Admission to Pumpkin Art is by donation
Donations support Oak Bay Kiwanis and their work with Mitchell House which is managed by the Threshold Housing Society. Mitchell House is a semi-independent transitional home for young men aged 16-21. At Mitchell House young men are given the chance to gain valuable life skills and grow towards working or obtaining an education with the support of Threshold staff. Stable housing and belong to a caring community means they can concentrate on finding work, finishing school and realizing their true potential.

Businesses in Oak Bay Village will be holding the
fourth annual merchant carving contest.
Pumpkins will be displayed
in shop windows.

Oak Bay Village businesses will host a trick or treat
from 2 pm to 5 pm on Monday, October 31.
Participating businesses are identified by
a pumpkin poster in their window.

Oak Bay Avenue is closed for Trick or Treat
and families are invited to enjoy music and spooky entertainment.

Trick or treat is followed by a Bonfire in Fireman’s Park,
1703 Monterey (next to the fire hall) at 6:00 p.m.

Pumpkin Art on the Avenue features hundreds of pumpkin carvings set up in themes featuring Canadian Idols, cartoon characters, prime ministers, presidents, TV shows, the royal family, sixties icons, CBC history and more!
